Who Qualifies for Hometown Heroes in Florida?

To qualify, you must:
 
Be a first-time homebuyer (haven’t owned in the last 3 years).

Work full-time for a Florida-based employer (veterans are exempt!).

Buy a primary residence in Florida.

Meet the income limits for your county.

Take a HUD-approved homebuyer education course (unless you’re a qualifying veteran).
